Can you believe it has been a year since the our Kickstarter project? It ended November 14th, 2010. We have come a long way and we couldn’t have done it with your help.
What you are about to watch is a Rough Cut of the opening scene of our documentary, Identifying Nelson/Buscando A Roberto. This special sneak peak is for our supporters only, so at this point we kindly request that you DO NOT share this on Facebook, Twitter, or email. As an early supporter of our project, we’d like to include you in occasional sneak peaks and in return, would request that you help us tell the story in the best possible way by sharing your impressions.
A Rough Cut means that the film clips haven’t been color corrected, the audio sounds a little rough, and we still need to add music and fancy graphics. What is most helpful is knowing what you liked, what might need further clarifications, how the clip made you feel and anything else you’d like to share.

Press Coverage
We have been getting some great press about the movie. It’s pretty neat considering the film isn’t even finished yet! The film was mentioned in an LA Times article, and written up in the Huffington Post! The Huffington Post article was then syndicated on AOL.com so we got a lot of attention form that. Nelson also appeared on a local TV station in LA where he was interviewed (in Spanish) about his experiences.
Below is the video that was created for the Huffington Post article.
Great job! I liked hearing from your relatives. It wasn’t really clear what Mama Chila’s role was when she was first mentioned and I feel she should be mentioned earlier on. Really good though!
